This wonderful cake plate was created by William Guerin and the Guerin-Pouyat-Elite LTD factories in Limoges, France. The two marks on the bottom, a green Guerin-Pouyat-Elite mark and a blue Wm Guerin & Co, France, Limoges mark, indicate the plate was made around 1900+. The shape features two handles with gilded highlights. The gilding does show some wear from use. There is a beautiful pink rose pattern with white daisies and blue ribbons in the decoration. This Cake Plate is available on other online venues priced at $64.95. We're offering this one to our discerning clientele here at a discount. This cake plate was acquired at an estate auction in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Condition Note: The cake plate is in EXCELLENT condition with no cracks, chips or crazing apparent under close inspection. There is wear to the gilding that can be seen in the photos.
