Your bidding on this Antique Oscar Schaller & Co BAVARIA "STRAWFLOWER" Blue & White Heavy China Platter. #14 It is 15"s long x 10"s wide x 1-3/4"s high. There are no Chips, Crack or Scratches. There are a couple of very small mold pops. The OLD BLUE China Mark on the back was used between 1909 & 1918 in Germany by S & C for Schaller & Co. This is a BEAUTIFUL PIECE with a Wonderful Shine. Porzellanfabrik Oscar Schaller & Co. (1882 until 1917) The company was founded in the year 1882 by the businessman Oscar Schaller and after exactly ten years he changed his mark into the symbol representing a stylized 'S & C' for Schaller & Co. . Porzellanfabrik Oscar Schaller & Co. Nachfolger (1917 until 1950) In 1917 the company was taken over by the ⇒Gebrüder Winterling O.H.G. in Röslau (Bavaria) and renamed to Oscar Schaller & Co. Nachfolger . The upward trend was so promising that they bought and converted the textile factory ⇒Kirchenlamitz (Upper Franconia, Bavaria) in 1920 and took over the company ⇒Porzellanfabrik Eduard Haberländer in Windischeschenbach (Upper Palatinate, Bavaria) in 1929. All these subsidiaries were kept under the name of Oscar Schaller & Co. ⇒Nachfolger . In 1938 the group also took over the ⇒Triptiser Porzellanfabrik A.G. (Triptis, Thuringia) that remained a standalone factory for the next years until its expropriation
