For sale is a beautiful scalloped cobalt blue plate ca. 1882 - 1925. It is hand-painted with three cartouches of superb floral arrangements on the rim surrounded in a deep cobalt blue. The plate center is an ivory white decorated with a cluster of large delicate flowers and pink rose. The plate features fancy scroll-work in gold, and a gold scalloped rim. Plate measures 7 1/2". Condition is excellent, with the exception of one very tiny chip to underside base per photo #11. Does not detract at all and is just mentioned for accuracy. Marked with "Meissen" in oval with a star, and the incised "Meissen" by (C. Teichert Stove and Porcelain Factory, Meissen, Saxony, Germany, 1882 - 1925 - Meissen in oval mark.
