You are viewing a very attractive pair of plates made by R H & S L Plant Ltd in their Tuscan China range. The plates, which measure 17cms across, have the backstamp used by the company from 1936. The beautiful decoration has a bird on a gilded branch with handpainted enamels and the borders are mottled blue with generous gilding and small yellow enamelled flowers. Condition is very good with no chips or cracks, the colours are fresh and the gilding bright and unworn. Thank you for looking.
