This sale is for an 6 1/4" diameter by 2 3/4" tall sterling silver Footed Bowl or Basket. It has a total weight of 280 grams (9 Troy Ounces). This item might more appropriately be called a Basket as it has a hinged handle. With the handle in the up position the Bowl/Basket has a total height of about 6 1/4". The Bowl/Basket, which is unpolished, does have patina. However, t are no dents, dings or other damage. Incidentally, the foot is not weighted. On the bottom of the foot is the following signature: Eagle 14 Sterling Mexico . A study of Mexican Silversmith Hallmarks indicates that the Eagle 14 Mark is associated with the Maciel Silver Factory, Mexico. Buyer will please pay for shipping.
