Hollinshead & Griffiths Offered for sale with a buy it now format is a very nice vintage ewer from Hollinshead & Griffiths under their Chelsea Royal Pottery mark . Seemingly handpainted with a floral decoration on a blush type ground, there is also some slightly raised lattice type effects on the top half. Offered for sale in a good condition for its age, there is a bit of nibbling on the handle and the usual wear to gilding, plus it would benefit from being cleaned more. It measures approximately 11.5" high. To the underside is the Chelsea Royal Pottery mark and it would date from the 1890s up to a couple of years into the twentieth century.
