Stunning old antique serving bowl by C Teichert Stove & Porcelain Factory Meissen Saxony Germany according to Kovel when researching the mark printed on bottom. The name Meissen is printed inside oval with a star at bottom in blue under glaze. Also impressed with "MEISSEN". The bowl is 13" long, 10" wide and 3" tall and weighs slightly over 3lbs. As stated, it is in perfect condition except for the gilding on top edge, see pictures. Very lovely what appears to be handpainted design and gilding. Have not found a name for pattern, which is beautiful. Lovely old piece from friend's estate.
